After spending all day in front of the computer, my son desperately wanted a turn, so I commissioned him to check out glogster. He had fun playing around, although initially a little annoyed in trying to get things to go the way he would like. This is a fun application, in the classroom setting but the teacher needs to allow time for students to play around with it before you can use the application for meaningful learning. The learning in the glogster education video will take a lot of scaffolding by the teacher who needs to be mindful if it is not purely a technology explore but wanting deeper embedded learning. Research into the project first and the decorating or putting together the presentation at the end with time management and focus on key elements of the product would need guidance.
